About The Event

Finding Jenn’s Voice is a documentary film that examines homicide as a leading cause of death during pregnancy and explores the nature of abusive relationships, looking beyond the black eye. Released in 2015, the film is the recipient of several awards, including best documentary film by the National Association of Social Workers. Finding Jenn’s Voice was inspired by the 2011 murder of Jennifer Snyder by her married boyfriend after he learned she was pregnant. Including the Americas Conference to End Coercive Control's keynote Evan Stark PhD, MSW. The film includes interviews with leading researchers across the country and features the voices of survivors of intimate partner homicide attempts.
